Shifts/working hours: Flexible day and night shifts available

Pay rates: £28.62 – £31.11 per hour (including holiday pay)

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Paediatric Nurse (RNC) to provide dedicated, 1-to-1 care for a young boy based in York. This is an opportunity to take full clinical responsibility for a client with complex needs, ensuring he receives the highest standard of safe, holistic care in his family home.

Clinical Profile & Responsibilities

You will be supporting a client with Cerebral Palsy (spastic tetraplegia), Hypoxic Ischaemic Encephalopathy, Dystonia, and Epilepsy. Your highly specialized duties will include: 

• Expert management of a Dual Port Gastro-jej. 
• Performing critical respiratory support including chest physio, oral suctioning, nasopharyngeal suctioning, and deep suctioning. 
• Proactive Epilepsy management and monitoring for Stridor and GORD. 
• Adapting your care approach to accommodate the client’s visual and hearing impairments and global development delay. 
• Strict adherence to the home’s safety protocols, including a mandatory NO NUTS house rule.

Who We Are Looking For

• Valid NMC Registration (RNC). 
• Proven UK based nursing experience in complex paediatric care (PICU/HDU background is highly advantageous). 
• Immaculate presentation, high emotional intelligence, and absolute discretion.
